I work as a freelance filmmaker, director, and promo producer based in Prague. I often envision pictures and ideas that I would like to share with others.

My journey to film began through graphic design. I studied multimedia and promotional creation, focusing primarily on 2D graphics. After school, I worked in advertising agencies, where I expanded my skills in graphic design.

 

However, I’d been drawn to film since childhood, so I eventually shifted to post-production, specifically in 2D compositing. I've worked on numerous projects – from shows for Czech Television to American series at the UPP studio.

Over time, I wanted to work with a broader creative scope, which led me to editing, directing, and dramaturgy. Today, I strive to find the ideal balance between these fields – when working on one aspect, I always draw on my skills from the others to achieve the best possible result. I believe that each part of this process has its place, and it’s the combination of these elements that creates the vision I aim for in my work.

Since 2014, I've been collaborating with the marketing department of Czech Television, where I produce promotional trailers for the ČT24 channel. This department has also given me the opportunity to lecture art school students on editing in self-promotion. Additionally, I’m working on my first short film, where I’m combining my experience in editing, directing, and dramaturgy to achieve the best result.

 

Beyond film, I’m a huge NFL fan and a former basketball player. I'm fascinated by the world of motorsports, and I’m an avid football fan. Each of these interests brings me inspiration and energy, which I strive to carry over into my work. ​​
